Bad weather could not stop this group of motivated JROTC Cadets from volunteering and supporting the Feed Stokes 5K and Half Marathon. They assisted runners with traffic management, collected and moved lots of canned food donations, and then cheered on all of the runners.
Congratulations to the Boys Basketball team on their win over Thomasville tonight! They are in the final four and will play in the Regional Finals on Monday! ##SaurasLeadtheWay #SauraPride #GoSouth

Today, the JROTC visited the Carolina Field of Honor Park in Kernersville. They had an opportunity to reflect on the sacrifices of our local veterans. We conducted a leadership development session with the support of our incoming Marine Instructor Gunnery Sergeant Alan Largen.

A big thank you to Mitchell's Meat Processing for the donation of pig hearts for use in Ms Johnson's Anatomy and Physiology classes. Students did a great job dissecting the hearts, naming all of the chambers and vessels, and adding to their knowledge of the cardiovascular system
Rain or shine, the South Stokes Marine Corps JROTC program does not stop. Today, the JROTC cadets conducted an Adopt-A-Highway clean-up, collecting six bags of roadside garbage #SaurasLeadtheWay #SauraPride #GoSouth

Stokes County Schools 2024 Spelling Bee Winner is Makenzie Farmer Ragland representing Chestnut Grove Middle School. The runner-up is Nolan Young representing Walnut Cove Elementary.
